‍Previously, I co-founded Coinbase and Paradigm. Recently, I co-founded Nudge, where our goal is to improve and expand what it means to be human by making increasingly advanced brain-computer interfaces starting with ultrasound.

Investing
I occasionally invest when there is the opportunity to create a company that reshapes the world. Some past investments include OpenAI, Anthropic, Anduril, SpaceX, SSI, General Matter, and Cognition.

Research
I believe we understand very little of what’s going on in the universe. I occasionally support fundamental research in a variety of fields including physics, biology, and public policy.

Human enhancement
I’m especially interested in improving lives through direct biological human enhancement. I host the Prometheus Summit to bring together top researchers and entrepreneurs who share this goal.
